Exclusive: A car belonging to troubled Western Bulldogs star Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has been involved in a second violent crime spree.

9News can reveal the white Jeep Cherokee was driven to several service stations in Melbourne’s south-east on Saturday, where a group of masked thieves allegedly carried out armed robberies.

It’s alleged the group first targeted a milkbar in Keysborough about 7.30pm, before travelling to a service station on Warrigal Road in Cheltenham about an hour later.

At 8.50pm, the offenders allegedly set upon a Reddy Express in Dingley Village.

Ten minutes later, CCTV captured the alleged offenders brandishing a machete as they accosted a shop attendant and customers at a Braeside petrol station.

The staff member armed himself with a metal pole and tried to fight back, before a tussle unfolded and he was thrown to the ground.

Police say the group fled in the Cherokee and were spotted by police a short time later in Chelsea, sparking a pursuit involving the AirWing.

Stop sticks were deployed in Doveton, but the car continued driving on its rims before it was dumped in Collingwood.

The four occupants then ran from the car along Harmsworth Street.

Police spoke to a group of about 15 males at a nearby park, but so far no arrests have been made.

The Western Bulldogs are aware of the incidents and are satisfied Ugle-Hagan is not involved.

At the time of Saturday’s armed robberies, the car had not been reported as stolen.

The Cherokee is now in the hands of police.

Three shots were fired at 71-year-old Doug Lee at his Glen Iris home.

Ugle-Hagan was questioned by police and has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

In a recent podcast, the 23-year-old said he’d given his car to a mate because he didn’t trust himself driving.
