Four men have been charged over their alleged links to a drug supply ring on the New South Wales Central Coast.

After a search on a storage facility in Berkeley Vale earlier in the month allegedly uncovered over three kilograms of cocaine, three kilograms of cannabis and 500ml of GBL (gamma-butyrolactone), police simultaneously raided four properties on the Central Coast on Thursday.

Strike force police as well as National Anti-Gangs Squad (NAGS) officers conducted searches at homes in Ourimbah, Empire Bay, Berkeley Vale and Chittaway Bay in a pre-dawn raid.

There, detectives allegedly found and seized seven firearms, two gel blaster pistols, 500 rounds of ammunition, steroids, illegal drugs including cocaine, heroin and cannabis as well as cash.

At one of the homes, in Berkeley Vale, police also allegedly uncovered a clandestine drug lab.

“Fire and Rescue HAZMAT crews deemed the site safe, before it was dismantled by specialist police from the State Crime Command’s Chemical Operations Unit,” NSW Police said in a statement.

“Investigators seized items consistent with the manufacture of prohibited drugs, glassware and prohibited drugs.

“They will undergo forensic examination.”

Four men – aged 38, 27, 39 and 38 – were arrested and charged with a number of offences including supply of a prohibited drug in large quantities and participating in a criminal group.

All four were refused bail and will appear at Wyong Local Court next month.
