In a chilling development, Joshua Dale Brown from Melbourne is now confronting a staggering 83 additional charges following the discovery of four new alleged victims. This escalation brings the 27-year-old’s total charges to 156, involving 12 alleged child victims.

Victoria Police disclosed that these new charges were filed this morning, encompassing offenses against both the newly identified four children and the initial eight. The list of charges is harrowing, including 23 counts of using a carriage service to transmit child abuse material, eight counts of producing child abuse material via a carriage service, eight counts of sexually assaulting a child under 16, and six counts of penetrating a child under 12.

In addition to these grim accusations, Brown faces charges unrelated to the childcare allegations, which include 12 counts of bestiality.

The offences include 23 counts of using a carriage service to transmit child abuse material, eight counts of producing child abuse material for use through a carriage service, eight counts of sexual assault of a child under 16, and six counts of penetration of a child under 12.

He was also charged with unrelated matters, including 12 counts of bestiality.

The four new children had attended the Nino Early Learning Adventures in Point Cook on March 26 in 2019, Only About Children in Williamstown on December 1 in 2020 and February 22 in 2021 and Aussie Kindies Early Learning Centre in Keilor between February 3 and 11 this year.

Their families have been notified and are receiving support services.

Brown was initally charged with more than 70 offences relating to the alleged abuse of eight children at Creative Gardens Early Learning Centre in Point Cook in May.

The charges triggered a mass health response that saw thousands of children get tested for sexually transmitted infections, with Brown having worked at 23 known childcare centres between January 2017 and May 2025.

Health officials have confirmed that no children need to be tested again, as they have not identified any new childcare centres he had worked at.

Detectives have continued investigating him after a magistrate granted them more time to gather evidence and pushed back the next court hearing to February 10.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Brown’s alleged crimes have sparked statewide and national child safety and industry reforms.

A concerned Melbourne father has uncovered that alleged paedophile Joshua Brown worked at his daughter's childcare last year but the centre hasn't been included on the official police investigation list. Abraham Khoury took his little girl to be tested and said he was furious her carers haven't been upfront with parents. Brown was working at Milestones Early Learning Centre in Greensborough on December 5 last year and sitting next to Khoury's little girl.
