A sports instructor has been charged with the alleged historic indecent assault of two boys in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

A NSW Police strike force began probing allegations of indecent assault between 1999 and 2007 in April.

The investigation led detectives to Queensland, where they arrested a 50-year-old man from an address in Southport on the Gold Coast.

He was charged with eight counts of aggravated indecent assault-victim under authority.

The man was granted conditional bail to face Tweed Heads Local Court on October 20.

In court, police will allege that the sports instructor indecently assaulted two boys on several occasions during those six years in Sydney.
