Good morning, and thank you for joining us for fashion’s biggest night, the Met Gala 2025 from the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Each year brings a new group of celebrity co-chairs. This year they are Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and A$AP Rocky — along with Anna Wintour, the influential Vogue editor who always oversees the proceedings. NBA superstar LeBron James is honorary chair.

Today’s Met Gala is the first to focus exclusively on Black designers and the first in more than 20 years to have a menswear theme.

Joining me to take you through the incredible outfits will be Jye Marshall, a Swinburne University of Technology Fashion Design Lecturer.

Jye will tell you a little bit more about himself in a second.
