Sydney Police Rescue Alleged Kidnapping Victim in Undercover Operation

The victim of another alleged kidnapping has been recovered from a property in Dural, two days after police believe he was snatched.
On Tuesday, police at Fairfield received reports of a kidnapping in Mt Pritchard, where a 53-year-old man had been taken from outside a tobacconist on Meadows Road just after 6am.

Authorities reported that a man was attacked and abducted by four masked individuals who forced him into a Hyundai hatchback. This alarming incident set off a swift response by law enforcement.

In response to the kidnapping, a secretive operation, named Strike Force Martinook, was launched. The mission was clear: locate and rescue the victim with urgency.

The breakthrough came at around 10:30 a.m. today when detectives from the strike force arrived at a property in Dural. There, they successfully located the missing 53-year-old man, bringing relief to those concerned for his safety.

Fortunately, the man was found in a stable condition. He was promptly evaluated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and then transported to a hospital for further care.

During the operation, authorities also apprehended a 16-year-old male at the Dural residence. The youth was subsequently taken to Castle Hill Police Station for questioning.

Inquiries are ongoing and investigations under Strike Force Martinook continue.
