Video shows the moment one boy tries to flee.

Two young accomplices stroll slowly behind him as the car they’d allegedly just been in zooms past with three more teens inside and police in pursuit.

The car had been tracked by the police helicopter.

It was first spotted on Main North Road at Hillbank about 7pm yesterday.

It was followed as it reached 190km/h on the Northern Expressway at Penfield.

Not long after three boys jumped out in First Street at Ridleyton.

They were arrested when patrols and a police dog swarmed the area.

The Holden Commodore sped away and was tracked at 160km/h hour on Grand Junction Road.

Just before 8pm, it finally came to a stop on Prospect Terrace at Prospect, with three more boys trying to get away.

But again there would be no escape as for a second time police moved in, quickly rounding up the final three suspects who were arrested on Ballville Street.

Two of the teens are 13, three are 15 and one is 17.

The group have been charged with numerous offences including illegal use of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving to escape police pursuit and driving at an extreme speed.

A 13-year-old boy from Devon Park was refused bail, while a 17-year-old boy from Port Augusta, the alleged driver of the vehicle, did not apply for bail.

Both boys will appear in court tomorrow.

The other four suspects were bailed to appear in court at a later date.
