Telstra said today it is continuing to monitor an outage that impacted thousands of customers.

Problems began about 2 pm AEST yesterday when the telco’s Bigpond and Webmail services struck problems around email logins and some apps.

Early today, Telstra said on social media that Telstra Mail was back up and running, but some customers using a third-party app may continue to experience troubles.

“As a first step, we recommend attempting to reset your password and then accessing your account using webmail.”

Telstra is continuing to monitor and investigate impacts from the outage.

“If you need help, reach out to us via phone or message in the My Telstra app or website,” the telco said.
