The woman is believed to have been scuba diving before her death.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Her death comes just days after another man drowned at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast.

Last December, 33 people lost their lives to drowning as life savers warn it's the most dangerous time to be in the water.
