Horror crash leaves two men dead, third fighting for life

Two young men have died and another is fighting for life after a crash between a truck and a car in south-west Sydney late yesterday.

Emergency services were called to King Georges Road at Wiley Park about 8.45pm where three men were found trapped inside a BMW sedan.

Two of those, aged 22 and 23, died at the scene, while the 20-year-old driver suffered significant injuries and was taken to hospital in critical condition.

The truck driver, a 24-year-old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was set up, and police crash investigation experts have launched inquiries.

They’re expected to examine whether the wet weather yesterday was a factor in the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
