Hanson expressed empathy for those affected by the development, acknowledging the emotional toll it might take on the loved ones of Celine. “While this discovery could potentially bring some clarity, we must first complete formal forensic analysis to ascertain if these remains are Celine’s,” he stated.

Celine Cremer was last known to have embarked on a bushwalk at Philosopher Falls but never returned. Her unattended white Honda CRV was later found parked, adding to the mystery surrounding her disappearance.
Police believe she got lost trying to find her way back to her car.
