His family has shared the heartbreaking news of his passing on February 20, expressing gratitude for the community’s support following the tragic event.
“With heavy hearts and unwavering faith in the promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of our cherished son, who was called to the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2026, after a valiant seven-day battle in the hospital following the tragic accident,” the family stated in a brief announcement.
The incident also involved a 48-year-old woman who sustained minor injuries when her station wagon veered off the road, striking the teenager before crashing into a tree.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine its cause.
