Tragic Sydney Bus Stop Stabbing: Teen Charged in Shocking Fatal Incident

A teenager has been charged over a fatal stabbing at a bus interchange in Sydney’s west last year.

On the evening of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, a tragic incident unfolded at the North Parade interchange in Mount Druitt, drawing a swift response from emergency services shortly after 10 PM.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered two 19-year-old men who had been victims of a violent stabbing. One of the young men, identified as Zac McRae, had sustained critical injuries to his chest. Despite the efforts of first responders, he could not be revived and tragically passed away at the scene.

The second victim, who suffered a stab wound to his arm, was transported to a nearby hospital where he received medical treatment. Fortunately, his condition was stable, and he has since been discharged.

The unfolding of this event has undoubtedly left a significant impact on the community, as friends and family come to terms with this senseless act of violence. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to uncover the circumstances that led to this devastating incident.

The other man had been stabbed in the arm and was taken to hospital in a stable condition. He has since been released.

Following inquiries, a 19-year-old woman was arrested in December in connection with the stabbing, and she remains before the courts.

More recently, at about 10.20am on January 7, police arrested a 19-year-old man in Silverwater.

He was charged with multiple offences, including murder and wounding with intent to murder.

He was refused bail and will appeal in court today.

Police have also released CCTV of three men they believe can assist the investigation.

The trio, believed to be aged in their 20s, are seen walking along a street in Mount Druitt.

They wear black hoodies and track pants. Two wear black shoes and one wears white shoes.
