In a recent post on Truth Social, Donald Trump referenced Australia while expressing frustration over the perceived lack of support from allies in safeguarding oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz.
“The United States has been notified by most of our NATO allies that they prefer not to participate in our military operations against the Iranian regime in the Middle East,” Trump stated. “This is despite nearly every nation agreeing with our stance that Iran must not, under any circumstances, obtain a nuclear weapon.”
He continued, “Due to our substantial military success, we neither ‘need’ nor desire assistance from NATO countries—WE NEVER DID! The same goes for Japan, Australia, or South Korea.”
Concluding his message, Trump asserted, “In fact, as the President of the United States, unquestionably the most powerful nation in the world, WE DO NOT REQUIRE HELP FROM ANYONE!”
