Some of America’s top podcast hosts, who were once ardent supporters, have now become the target of scathing criticism.
“They’re not just misguided; they know it, their families know it, and so does everyone else,” he remarked.
“These individuals have been sidelined from television, lost their shows, and are no longer invited to appear on TV. No one is interested in what they have to say because they are seen as erratic troublemakers who will say anything for a moment of free and cheap publicity.”
He specifically took aim at Tucker Carlson, the once-prominent figure on Fox News, by noting, “He couldn’t even finish college.”
“When he was dismissed from Fox, it broke him, and he’s never been the same since,” Trump added.
“Perhaps he should see a good psychiatrist.”
Carlson gave a lengthy broadcast highly critical of the president.
He took particular issue with Trump’s foul-mouthed Truth Social post made on Sunday.
“How dare you speak that way on Easter morning to the country?” Carlson said.
“Who do you think you are? You’re tweeting out the f-word on Easter morning.”
“Actually, to me, the First Lady of France is a far more beautiful woman than Candace, in fact, it’s not even close!” Trump wrote.
“How do we 25th Amendment his ass?” Jones said.
“Trump literally sounds like an unhinged super villain from a Marvel comic movie.”
The president’s 482-word Truth Social post was made in the middle of the day, Washington time.
