Two siblings were shot at during a home invasion in Brisbane’s south-east, in what’s believed to be a targeted attack.
Police say two men tried to break into the home on Fisher Street in Rochedale about 4.40am today before firing multiple shots at the property.
A brother and sister, both aged in their 30s, live in the home and were injured.
The pair are being treated at Princess Alexandra Hospital and are in a stable condition.
The gunmen were last seen running away from the home.
Police say it was a targeted attack.
A white Mercedes without number plates was seen doing laps on the road shortly before the shooting.
It was found abandoned nearby with a jerry can left on the driver’s seat.
Family and friends appeared visibly distraught at the scene today.
Their sister told 9News the pair are “alive” and doing well.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or those with footage of Fisher Road from 4am today to come forward.
