Firefighters are on the scene working to extinguish a bushfire caused by the crash.

The area is primarily sugar fields and dense bushland, which may present a challenge for fire crews.

Emergency services, including rural and city fire crews, are struggling to access the isolated scene about 30 minutes north of the Gold Coast.
