“It’s absolutely unbelievable,” she exclaimed in a statement shared by The Lott.
“I can’t believe it—my mouth is dry from the shock. You have no idea how overwhelmed I feel right now,” she continued.
“I even changed one of the numbers on my PowerHit ticket at the last minute. Initially, I did a quick pick, but then I thought there were too many numbers in the 30s. I had both 33 and 34, so I switched 33 to 5. Can you believe it?”
Describing herself as an “everyday worker,” she confided that she had been feeling the financial strain many others experience.
“Just ten minutes ago, I still had a mortgage,” the anonymous winner revealed.
“I’ll keep working for now… but it might not be full time.
“I’m still young enough to enjoy this, share it with the family and make sure everyone’s comfortable for the rest of my life.
The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1567 were 26, 30, 10, 34, 16, 5 and 12. The Powerball number was 11.
