A range of baby dummies sold in two states and online have been recalled due to concerns the product may contain BPA.

The products were sold between January 1 and September 17 this year at select stores and online.

“The soothers may contain BPA, a substance potentially harmful to health,” the recall notice said.

“Risk of long-term illness if BPA is ingested over a period of time, including increased risk of certain cancers and hormonal disruption.”

In NSW, the products were sold at Bondi Pharmacy, Soul Pattinson Chemist in Deniliquin and Stellar Pharmacy in Buronga.

Across South Australia, the dummies were sold at Health Save Stirling Day Night Pharmacy, Terry White Chemmart in Brighton South, Terry White Chemmart in Fulham, Terry White Chemmart in Walkerville, The Green Dispensary in Stirling and The Village Pharmacy in Glenside.

“Stop using the product immediately and place out of reach of children,” the recall notice said.

“Contact Curaprox to arrange to return the product for a full refund.”
