An alleged drunk driver has been captured on camera losing control of his ute and crashing into another car in Adelaide, with police saying he went on to cause a second crash after failing to stop.

A 43-year-old man from Hampstead Gardens has been reported for driving under the influence and driving without due care over the incidents.

Police arrived and arrested the driver about 8pm. (Nine)

The incident, captured on CCTV, shows the ute appearing to strike a speed bump and hitting the parked car before performing a U-turn and leaving the scene.

Minutes later, a second collision allegedly occurred on Fleet Street, not far from the initial incident.

Police arrived and arrested the driver about 8pm.

No one was injured in either incident, and the police investigation is ongoing.
