Virgin Australia has launched a massive sale, with over 800,000 airfares available on domestic and international routes.

Flights from Sydney to Ballina (Byron Bay) are on sale from $49, while flights from Melbourne to Launceston start at $59, all on select dates.

Flights from Melbourne or Sydney to Queenstown, New Zealand, are priced at $405 and $435, respectively.

Economy return flights are now available for just $499 from the Gold Coast to Denpasar (Bali) and $589 for travel between Sydney and Nadi (Fiji).

The sale fares are available for booking from now until midnight on Monday, January 20, unless sold out earlier. The offer applies to travel dates between January 14, 2025 and November 30, 2025.

Virgin Australia executive Libby Minogue said the sale is perfect for Aussies who feel like they never left the office.

‘The new year is all about fresh starts and big ambitions, and as Australians head back to work, we want to help Australians achieve their travel dreams in 2025,’ Ms Minogue said.

‘Travellers are encouraged to act fast to secure these sale fares and kickstart their year of travel for 2025.’
