In a series of alarming incidents, threatening messages surfaced on the social media platform X between December 10 and December 15 of last year. These posts drew swift attention from the Australian Federal Police, who acted decisively once they allegedly traced the account back to a 39-year-old individual.
On December 19, authorities conducted a raid at a residence in Woodridge, a suburb in Logan, Queensland. During this operation, officers uncovered a cache of weapons, including swords and axes, alongside various electronic files.
As the investigation unfolded, police claimed they discovered evidence linking the social media threats directly to the suspect. Records of these menacing posts were reportedly found on both his mobile phone and desktop computer, further substantiating the case against him.

If found guilty, he could face a maximum of five years in jail.
He was granted bail and is expected in court today.
