How does the public sector stack up against the private sector?
More than half of employers improved their median total remuneration gender pay gap in the past 12 months.

Among federally funded organisations, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) have larger gender pay gaps than the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC), Australian Taxation Office (ATO), National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), and several other large agencies. So why the gap between public and private?
