Virginia Meagher has issued a heartfelt plea for assistance in locating her late husband Peter’s camera, which went missing following a tragic incident in December. Peter, aged 61, had been attending the Chanukah by the Sea event as a photographer when the incident occurred.
Virginia turned to social media to reach out for help, expressing her desire to recover the camera. “As many of you know, my husband Peter’s life was sadly taken at Bondi on December 14th. It has come to light that someone, not affiliated with any official authority, took his camera from Archer Park,” she shared on Facebook.
She continued, “I deeply wish to have his camera returned. If anyone has information about the Canon camera, I would be grateful to hear from you.”
“I would very much like to have his camera returned.
“If you know anything about the Canon camera, I’d love to hear from you.”
She shared photos of her husband using the camera.
“Gun reform alone will not solve hatred or extremism, but an antisemite without a gun is just a hate-filled person,” he said.
Virginia said at his funeral: “Every text message, WhatsApp and voicemail from Peter begins with ‘hi darling’ and ends with ‘I love you’.”
