A New South Wales woman is offering a $10,000 reward to find her lost dog after she disappeared on the Australia Day long weekend.

Abbey Livingston and her partner were driving from their camping trip in Mystery Bay on the NSW South Coast back to their home in Nowra, on January 27.

Just outside of Batemans Bay they pulled over to switch drivers.

When they got back in their car, they realised their dog Frankie had disappeared.

“I think she had gotten out to go to the toilet,” Livingston said.

“She’s gone for a little wander in the bush and we haven’t been able to find her since.”

Frankie has been missing since January 27.

Frankie disappeared on the Princes Highway about a kilometre south of Gravel Pit Road.

On both sides of the road for a long stretch is dense bushland of the Murramarang National Park.

The $10,000 is coming out of Livingston and her partner’s pocket.

“I’ve been down here every day since it’s happened,” she said.

“I’ve only been home one night.”

Frankie is a five-year-old Pomeranian and Japanese Spitz cross.

Livingston notes Frankie is very timid so if anyone sees her, they shouldn’t chase her.
