Connecticut Sun guard Courtney Williams becomes second WNBA ambassador for Moolah Kicks.

Today, Moolah Kicks announced Connecticut Sun guard Courtney Williams as the newest brand ambassador. During the 2023 WNBA season, Williams will hoop in the new Neovolt Pro model, participate in brand appearances, and fan activations to promote Moolah Kicks on social media.
Moolah Kicks founder Natalie White got to sit down with Williams earlier this year when her company partnered with the Connecticut Sun for their 20th anniversary season. The ‘Moolah Kicks For a Cause” campaign introduced five limited edition designs to celebrate: Sun Legends, PRIDE, Title IX, Breast Health Awareness, and Racial Justice.
In August, HighlightHER and Bleacher Report Kicks captured the meeting between White and Williams. “You had me sold with the first two sentences,” Williams says during the unboxing. The seven-year WNBA veteran describes the difficulties she’s had over the years with foot injuries and breaking in shoes, all things the Moolah Kicks design aims to fix for female basketball players.

Flash forward to today, and Williams is not only playing in Moolah Kicks, but she is also using her platform to promote the brand. “I am thrilled to join fellow WNBA star Destanni Henderson and University Connecticut Caroline Ducharme as a brand ambassador for Moolah Kicks, a company dedicated to producing performance-driven basketball shoes made exclusively for female ballers,” said Williams in the company’s release.
Williams will return for Season 2 of Athletes Unlimited Basketball early next year before hoping to return to the WNBA Finals with the Connecticut Sun. Today, the Sun will formally introduce its new head coach, Stephanie White.
Previously, White served as the head coach of the Indiana Fever, where she led her squad to a 37-31 with a playoff record of 6-6, including a trip to the 2015 WNBA Finals before leaving to take the head coach position with Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball. White was a part of Lin Dunn’s coaching staff that led the Fever to their first and only WNBA title in 2012.
