Dyan Cannon stepped out in style for a rare public appearance in West Hollywood.
The actress, 88, was photographed walking her two dogs on Sunday, July 13, wearing a white top with a black overshirt, black pants, sandals and a black fedora.
The outing came just a few months after Cannon opened up about her love life, telling People in April that she was back on the dating scene.
Cannon told the outlet she was involved with “somebody very special.” She then clarified that there were “several special [people]” that she was seeing, adding, “I have friends with benefits, yes.”
The Academy Award nominee was married to her first husband, Cary Grant, from 1965 to 1968. She wed her second husband, Stanley Fimberg, in 1985, and their relationship lasted until 1991.
Cannon’s been candid about facing ups and downs during her marriage to Cary, with whom she shares daughter Jennifer Grant.
“About four months ago, I was going through my safe, and I found some notes from him that were so adorable, and made me understand why I fell in love with him,” she told Page Six in December 2023.

She also detailed some of the criticism she faced during their relationship in her 2011 book, Dear Cary: My Life With Cary Grant.
“I never knew what was going to set him off next, and when he wasn’t at work, he trailed me around the house, listing my shortcomings,” she penned. “I didn’t place a coaster under my water glass. I parked my car in the driveway crooked. I shouldn’t be so friendly to the postman because he might get the wrong idea, or to the maid because it was good to keep a distance.”
Cary died in 1986 at age 82 after suffering a stroke. Jennifer, 59, remembered her father being a dedicated parent despite his Hollywood stardom and marriage woes.
“I lived with my mother, [but] she’d be away making a film for three months, say, and I’d be at my father’s house,” she told Closer Weekly in August 2021. “I saw him so much more than the child of divorced parents might expect.”

Cary married Barbara Harris in 1981, and they were together until his death. Harris admired her late husband’s strong bond with his daughter in his final years.
“I think the birth of Jennifer brought him great love, and I think that the relationship we had brought him peace,” Harris told Closer. “Most of the people who truly knew him commented that he was much more at ease and a much happier person in the later part of his life.”
