The 9 BBC and ITV stars who were on TV much too often in 2025

As I settle in for an evening in front of the TV, it’s hard not to notice the familiar faces that frequently pop up on my screen. While Netflix and Amazon Prime offer a variety of options, my go-to channels remain the iconic BBC and ITV. These networks are home to some of the UK’s most beloved shows, including “I’m A Celebrity,” “Strictly Come Dancing,” “Britain’s Got Talent,” and “The Traitors.” The abundance of quiz shows is also notable, yet it’s the recurring presence of the same presenters that truly stands out.

Among these ever-present personalities are Bradley Walsh, Alison Hammond, and Michael McIntyre, who have become staples in British households. Their ubiquity on television is undeniable, and it seems like they’re everywhere you look.

This year, we’ve compiled a list of nine celebrities and hosts who seemed to dominate the screen in 2025. Bradley Walsh, for instance, appears to be a permanent fixture on “The Chase,” and I wouldn’t be surprised if he continues to host until well into his later years.

Amanda Holden

8. Amanda Holden

Amanda Holden is another prime example, having taken on a plethora of high-profile projects this year, in addition to her role on “Britain’s Got Talent.” Her upcoming renovation series with Alan Carr on the BBC and her new game show, “The Inner Circle,” are just the beginning.

She also ventured into controversial territory with the dating series “Cheated: Unfinished Business.” It’s impressive how Amanda manages to juggle so many hosting responsibilities while still finding time for her radio show on Heart FM.

The Chase

7. Bradley Walsh

If you don’t know Bradley Walsh, he presents not one but several television shows, including the BBC’s Gladiators, Blankety Blank, and Breaking Dad, with his son Barney.

He is also best known for hosting ITV’s game show The Chase and its spin-off, Beat the Chasers. W

Great British Bake Off

6. Alison Hammond

The same goes for Alison Hammond, who fronts four shows, including This Morning, For The Love of Dogs, and The Great British Bake Off.

If she potentially gets chosen for the Strictly Come Dancing gig, she could have the possibility of having five shows to present next year, which feels a bit excessive even for such a bubbly personality as her.
