90 Day Fiancé Drama: Zied’s Shocking Demand Sparks Heated Conflict With Rebecca Over Chores

Communication woes between Zied and Rebecca are putting significant stress on their marriage in the latest episode of “90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort,” which aired on Monday.

In an exclusive sneak peek provided to Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” the couple—who tied the knot in April 2020—find themselves embroiled in a contentious exchange over household responsibilities. This discussion unfolds as they sit by a campsite, joined by other couples facing similar marital challenges.

During the conversation, Rebecca, 55, questions her husband, asking, “I genuinely want to know: how am I not a good wife to you?” Responding, Zied, 32, states, “I [did] not say you’re not a good wife. I said, like, I want you to be like a real wife.”

With the guidance of Dr. Tyrone K. Grandison, a marriage and family therapist, Zied expresses his frustrations over the couple’s inadequate communication. He also mentions that Rebecca doesn’t cook for him, attributing it to her long working hours, which stretch up to “16 hours” daily.

Another cast member, Guillermo, offers his perspective on the couple’s troubles, pointing to their cultural differences as the root cause of their ongoing conflict.

“You are asking for something that, sadly, is not what you can have right now, meaning she needs to work,” Guillermo says.

He adds, “She’s not the same kind of woman that, I guess, you were used to in your country, which is gonna be cooking more, cleaning … taking care of the man and the house more than working.”

Paola — another “90 Day Fiancé” fan favorite — quickly interjects to explain that a woman doesn’t have to “cook and clean just to be a wife,” before Rebecca finally responds to the accusations being hurled her way.

According to Rebecca, she previously worked as a chef and was “excited” to cook for Zied when he moved to the US from Tunisia. However, they quickly realized that he “doesn’t like” anything she cooks — or any American food, for that matter.

“We actually never eat the same food anymore. That isn’t about me not wanting to cook,” Rebecca fumes, before turning to Zied and asking, “Are the bills paid?”

The clip ends with her husband sheepishly backing down as he admits their finances are taken care of.

Zied and Rebecca made their franchise debut in Season 3 of “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days,” before airing their wedding in Season 8 of the flagship show. The couple joined the third season of “90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort” to work through ongoing jealousy, communication and control issues.

Despite their struggles, Rebecca celebrated their anniversary in an April Instagram post.

“Happy Anniversary my love ❤️ 8 years together and 6 years since we said I Do,” she wrote in the caption. “I wouldn’t change a thing. Enhebek barchaa habibi ❤️”

“Enhebek barchaa habibi” translates to, “I love you so much, my love,” in English.

“90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.
