There are spoilers for The Traitors Season 3 ahead!
Peacock’s The Traitors is back for a shiny new season with Season 3. After an award-winning second season, The Traitors US has a large, star-studded cast flooding the Scottish castle to conquer murder and deception.
Hosted by actor Alan Cumming, the reality competition series hosts a plethora of celebrities in a gorgeous, gothic castle, where they are to decipher who the “Traitors” are among a group of “Faithfuls.”
At the start of the series, Alan secretly chooses Traitors, who then have to secretly act as if they’re Faithfuls in order to pull off “murders” and take home the cash prize by the end of the season. All the while, the Faithfuls do their due diligence to find the Traitors among them.
Considering how successful Season 2 of The Traitors was, Peacock pulled out all the stops for Season 3, including casting four famous women from different The Real Housewives franchises to bring one-liners, drama, and competition. It’s the crossover Bravo fans have been craving.
The Traitors Is The Perfect Crossover For Real Housewives
The American version of The Traitors is the perfect crossover for women from The Real Housewives franchise for a multitude of reasons. Not only are Bravo TV and Peacock owned by NBCUniversal — creating a nice connection under the same umbrella — but the personality requirements needed to compete on The Traitors are many that make some women amazing Housewives.
- Deception, truth-seeking, vulnerability, and quick thinking are all things that make a great Housewife and an even better participant on The Traitors.

While there are plenty of reality television participants on The Traitors outside of The Real Housewives realm, the Bravo fandom is a large one and it comes with hoards of adoring fans.
Seasons 1 and 2 were just the start for some famous Housewives. Phaedra Parks was far and beyond the crowd-pleaser of Season 2, promoting even more amazing Housewife casting choices for Season 3.
- Brandi Glanville, Season 1 (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)
- Larsa Pippen, Season 2 (The Real Housewives of Miami)
- Tamra Judge, Season 2 (The Real Housewives of Orange County)
- Phaedra Parks, Season 2 (The Real Housewives of Atlanta)
- Shereé Whitfield, Season 2 (The Real Housewives of Atlanta)
Season 3 now has Housewives from cities in the franchise that haven’t been on The Traitors yet — expanding the crossover.
Dorinda Medley
The Real Housewives of New York’s Dorinda Medley was one of the golden casting choices when the roster for Season 3 of first revealed. Dorinda was a guest on Season 4 of RHONY before becoming a prominent Housewife in Seasons 7-12. The New York resident is known for her blunt demeanor, iconic analogies, and ability to read people. Her patience for lies made amazing TV on Bravo and could have made her the winner of Season 3.
Unfortunately, Dorinda was the first cast member “murdered” by the Traitors. The Traitors wanted to limit the Housewives’ success and took down the strongest competition — Dorinda.
Robyn Dixon
Robyn Dixon was one of the more surprising additions to The Traitors. Hailing from The Real Housewives of Potomac, Robyn was an original Housewife for eight seasons before being fired for Season 9, as reported by People. Many Bravo fans felt the firing was justified considering she didn’t have many storylines. Her laid-back demeanor, however, could be a reason why she would be a good fit for The Traitors.
Robyn asks hard-hitting questions and doesn’t give much away in terms of private knowledge. On the flip side, Collider shared that some fans think she may be too weak or thin-skinned to compete.
Chanel Ayan
The Real Housewives of Dubai was canceled in 2024 after two seasons, as reported by Deadline, but model Chanel Ayan still had the chance to shine bright on TV through The Traitors.
Chanel joked in an episode that she was typically hired for jobs based on her beauty, rarely for her brain. Joining a gaming reality show where using your mind was key could have been humorous for viewers. Unfortunately, Chanel was murdered off the series shortly after Dorinda. Again, the Traitors wanted to send a message to the Housewives that any alliances they may have had are no longer.
Dolores Catania
Dolores Catania is the perfect casting choice for The Traitors. From The Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise, Dolores has a truth-seeker, truth-teller, and has no issue telling a person when they’re wrong. She’s one of the most intimidating Housewives in the franchise, making her an amazing addition to The Traitors. As of this article’s publishing, she’s still thriving as a Faithful.
Other Bravo Sensations Who Have Been A Part Of The Traitors
The women from The Real Housewives franchise aren’t the only participants from Bravo on The Traitors. The Bravo world has a ton of talent to choose from, especially those who are diabolical and have a gaming-like way of thinking.
Gamers, like those from Survivor, Big Brother, and Love Island, have a way of thinking that gives them a leg up from those on unscripted reality TV. But if there’s one thing Bravo fans know, it’s to not sleep on Bravo cast members.

Some fans were skeptical of Season 3’s cast because of the number of big names attached to it. However, after Peacock dropped the first three episodes on premiere day, viewers can rest assured that Season 3 could be one of The Traitors’ best.
