A Survivor Superfan Ranks Every Winner From Worst To Best

Since the first episode of the show aired, I have loved debating everything to do with Jeff Probst and Survivor. As a result, I have written articles about the best seasons for new fans to watch first, and I have ranked every season ever.

Like most Survivor superfans, I love debating who the best winners are. However, I have decided to go a step further than that with this article by ranking every Survivor winner ever.

Top 3 Survivor Winners According To A Super Fan

Tony Vlachos

Chris Underwood

Like many other fans, I think Chris Underwood is the worst Survivor winner ever. After all, Chris was the third player voted out during Survivor: Edge Of Extinction and he left the game for more than three weeks. Ultimately, Chris only played the game for thirteen days, as he spent 26 days on the Edge of Extinction. The fact that he was crowned the season’s winner, despite that, is ridiculous.

Bob Crowley

While Bob Crowley seems to be a lovable guy, that doesn’t mean that I don’t recognize the fact that he is one of the worst Survivor winners ever. The main reason why Bob is such a bad Survivor winner is really simple. Throughout Survivor: Gabon, it often seemed like Bob didn’t understand what was going on.

Ben Driebergen

Survivor: Heroes Vs. Healers Vs. Hustlers (Season 35)

Putting aside the conspiracy theories, Ben Driebergen’s game depended on immunity idols and the sudden introduction of the final four fire-making challenge. I believe that Ben is a weak Survivor winner since he was so dependent on lucky breaks throughout his season.

Mike Holloway

Survivor: Worlds Apart (Season 30)

Mike Holloway made the baffling decision to stab his entire tribe in the back in front of them to try to get an advantage. Then, he got cold feet and relented, so he never even got the advantage. After making his entire tribe furious and getting nothing for it, Mike had to go an all-time immunity winning streak to win. This series of events is exactly why I rank Mike so low on my list.

Jenna Morasca

Survivor: The Amazon (Season 6)

To Jenna’s credit, she won Immunity four times, which was impressive. However, the fact that Jenna ostracized so many of her tribemates for non-strategic reasons exposed how weak her game was. If she wasn’t sitting beside someone so off-putting during final tribal council, Jenna likely would have lost.

Tommy Sheehan

Survivor: Island of the Idols (Season 39)

Of course, it isn’t Tommy Sheehan’s fault that he won the worst season of Survivor ever. However, the fact that Tommy prevailed during a season with so many easy-to-hate players means that he could cost on a mediocre winning game and still prevail.

Mike Gabler

Survivor 43

Throughout Survivor 43, there were several scenes that made it seem pretty clear that Mike Gabler had a limited understanding of the game. While it is amazing that Gabler went through with donating his prize money, as People reported, that has nothing to do with the quality of his win. For that reason, I remain unimpressed with Mike’s win.

Amber Brkich Mariano

Survivor: All-Stars (Season 8)

Throughout Survivor: All-Stars, Rob Mariano seemed to take the lead in just about everything. As a result, Amber Brkich Mariano won the season since the jury was so mad at Rob. Some may argue that Amber was smart to have Rob take the slings and arrows, and there is some truth to that. However, the fact remains that Amber won by default.

Danni Boatwright

Survivor: Guatemala (Season 11)

During her season, Danni Boatwright infamously refused to reveal what she was up to on camera. As a result, it is difficult to gauge how strong or weak her game really was. Ultimately, I had to rank Danni in the lower tier of this list because the winners who are ranked above her revealed stronger games to the world.
