Abby Lee Miller recently enlisted the expertise of renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Patrick Davis, for a unique cosmetic procedure that may just put him at the pinnacle of his field. The celebrated surgeon performed a $1,000 ear rejuvenation on the Dance Moms star, transforming her earlobes without the need for surgery.
Following years of sporting heavy earrings that had altered the shape of her earlobes, the 60-year-old television personality shared her enthusiasm for the results in an interview published on Wednesday, June 10. “It was amazing,” Miller remarked to Page Six, expressing her satisfaction with Dr. Davis’s work, which utilized hyaluronic acid filler injections instead of traditional surgery.
Meanwhile, Miller found herself at the center of social media buzz when fans noticed what seemed to be an “intense” beauty filter on a recent TikTok video. The clip, shared on Sunday, September 28, showcased the dance coach’s flawlessly smooth complexion as she traveled to Iowa to conduct a class, sparking playful comments from her followers.
Reflecting on her decision to improve her earlobes, Miller recalled her late mother, Maryen Lorrain Miller, who often remarked on the appearance of her own earlobes. Inspired by her mother’s comments and her own experience with stretched lobes from frequent use of statement earrings, Miller decided to take action.

“Then I started noticing it myself because I would put an earring in my ear and the whole earring would go through,” she explained. “The hoops would flip all the way around with the back and the whole thing in it.”
It was an easy-breezy procedure that took less than 30 minutes, following which Abby Lee rated the pain level a “two” out of 10, adding, “Everyone’s going to be flocking to their doctors to do this.”
Dr. Davis told Page Six the injections “can plump up the earlobe that has shrunken in size” with results that are visible right after the procedure and improve even more in the days to come. There is a surgical procedure available for patients as well, although that price range can go up to $3,000 to $4,000.
Abby Lee was advised to avoid wearing her go-to hoops and studs for a bit, but she admitted that was not an option. “He didn’t want me to wear earrings for like a week, and I couldn’t do it because I had an event that I had to go to,” she confessed with a laugh.
