ABC is gearing up for a momentous event, bringing together the most extensive assembly of stars from The Bachelorette franchise in its history. This special reunion is set to air in anticipation of the upcoming season featuring Taylor Frankie Paul at the helm of the beloved reality dating series. Back in September 2025, ABC made waves by announcing Taylor as the lead for the 22nd season of The Bachelorette. At 31 years old, Taylor hails from Utah and is a single mother to three children. Known for her role in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, her selection was unexpected, marking the first time the lead wasn’t a former participant from The Bachelor.
In a recent press release, ABC unveiled plans for a special preview titled “The Bachelorette: Before the First Rose.” This preview, which is set to air on ABC and stream on Hulu on Sunday, March 15, will follow the live broadcast of The Oscars. It promises to bring together 18 former Bachelorettes who will reminisce about their experiences, share exclusive behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and offer guidance to Taylor as she embarks on her journey. Fans can look forward to the full premiere of Taylor’s season on Sunday, March 22, at 8 p.m. ET, with streaming available on Hulu the following day.
The reunion special will feature an impressive lineup of 18 past Bachelorettes. This includes notable figures like the first-ever Bachelorette, Trista Rehn Sutter, along with Meredith Phillips, DeAnna Pappas, Ali Fedotowsky-Manno, Ashley Hebert-Rosenbaum, Emily Maynard-Johnson, Desiree Siegfried, Andi Dorfman-Hart, Kaitlyn Bristowe, JoJo Fletcher, Rachel Lindsay, Becca Kufrin, Hannah Brown-Woolard, Tayshia Adams, Katie Thurston, Rachel Recchia, Charity Lawson, and Joan Vassos, who holds the distinction of being the first Golden Bachelorette.

Eighteen Bachelorettes will take part in “The Bachelorette: Before the First Rose.” They include the first Bachelorette, Trista Rehn Sutter, Meredith Phillips, DeAnna Pappas, Ali Fedotowsky-Manno, Ashley Hebert-Rosenbaum, Emily Maynard-Johnson, Desiree Siegfried, Andi Dorfman-Hart, Kaitlyn Bristowe, JoJo Fletcher, Rachel Lindsay, Becca Kufrin, Hannah Brown-Woolard, Tayshia Adams, Katie Thurston, Rachel Recchia, Charity Lawson and Joan Vassos, the first Golden Bachelorette.
Which Bachelorettes Won’t Appear In “The Bachelorette: Before The First Rose”?
Based on the ABC press release, there are a few notable Bachelorettes who won’t be appearing in “The Bachelorette: Before the First Rose.” They include Jen Schefft, Jillian Harris, Clare Crawley, Michelle Young, Gabby Windey, and Jenn Tran.
Which Bachelorette Relationships Have Lasted?
Very few of the relationships from The Bachelorette have lasted, but there are some couples who’ve stayed together. The first-ever Bachelorette, Trista Rehn, has been married to Ryan Sutter for 22 years. Other married couples include Desiree and Chris Siegfried (married 11 years) and JoJo and Jordan Rodgers (married 3 years). In addition, Charity has been engaged to Dotun Olubeko for over two years, while Golden Bachelorette stars Joan and Chock Chapple have been engaged for over a year. Unfortunately, Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum and Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo eventually divorced after getting married.
The Bachelorette season 22 is breaking new ground by casting someone from outside of the Bachelor franchise for the first time since the show premiered in 2003. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has been a huge hit, so it’s going to be exciting to see Taylor take the lead. These 18 Bachelorettes will certainly have a lot of good advice for her, and it’ll be fun and intriguing to hear all of the behind-the-scenes information that they have to share. The Bachelorette keeps evolving, and that’s why it’ll always be an integral part of the reality TV landscape.
The Bachelorette season 22 starring Taylor Frankie Paul premieres on Sunday, March 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
