Summer House star Paige DeSorbo announced her decision to leave the reality TV show after Season 10. The news was met with great disappointment because DeSorbo is hugely popular with her fans. Still, she is not disappearing from the limelight entirely: her success with her business ventures, including her Giggly Squad podcast and her sleepwear brand, Daphne, will ensure that DeSorbo remains on everyone’s radar. But could a return to reality TV be in her future?

This is a question that many of her fans need an answer to, and DeSorbo shared her thoughts, and her experience of becoming a reality star, in a recent interview.

What Has Paige DeSorbo Said About Reality TV?

In an interview with People in July, DeSorbo discussed her feelings about reality TV and admitted that she would not be returning “anytime soon.” However, her reasons are not because she had a bad experience or regrets her time on Summer House.

“Reality TV was so fun, and I feel like I was the perfect age to do Summer House and what the vibe was,” she said. “I would never say never, but I think coming off of it after seven years, I would love a break.” She added, “But again, I would never say never.”

The door may be open for DeSorbo to make a comeback if the timing is right. Whether this will be on Summer House or another show remains to be seen. For now, she’s enjoying some downtime, which she rarely gets.

“I really haven’t been able to go home a lot during the summer,” she said. “So, I’m actually very excited to spend a couple of weekends in Albany with my family [and] go to some places that I never get the chance to this summer.”

Will Paige DeSorbo Return To The Hamptons?

Some fans may have been hoping to spot DeSorbo in The Hamptons, despite her not currently filming Summer House. However, in her interview with People, she said she “might take a break” from the location this year because she has done it all before. Now, she is looking forward to trying out new things.

Pursuing new experiences is one of the reasons DeSorbo chose to leave Summer House. In her statement in June, which she made via her Instagram Story, she informed fans that she was grateful for the experience, but she was done. “Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles. All unforgettable,” her statement read. “But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
