Actress Joan Collins stunned fans as she took to social media to share holiday photos from her sun-soaked trip to the South of France. The 92-year-old stunned as she posed on a sun lounger and flashed her classic, dazzling smile. The Hollywood icon looked ageless as she embraced the sunshine in a classy white swimsuit and an unmissable bright red, wide-brimmed hat.
Joan’s look was perfectly coordinated as the hat matched her bright red lip look and nail polish colour. She was also heavily accessorised with sea blue coloured jewellery, perfect for her trip abroad. The dangly earrings had gold detailing, which matched the chunky rings and her large beaded necklace. Taking to the Instagram caption, the actress teased a major return to screens and penned: “The producer is thinking of making a sequel to Murder Between Friends.
“I played Francesca Carlyle who is a tv star and also a private detective. (like shades of Agatha Christie & Murder She Wrote ).
“Meanwhile, I’m relaxing in the South of France in 90° heat. Thinking of my next move or next movie!”
Joan added: “Thank you to @rene_horsch for these photos & styling, … also my dream team @xtraxaelx Holly Abrahams & #ahubby Percy.”
Despite his huge tease, fans were distracted by her stunning appearance including one who praised: “Miss Collins you look constantly amazing,” as a second echoed: “Absolutely gorgeous!!!”
Another shared: “Dame Joan is always so stylish even in relaxation mode! I would love to see the original to this possible sequel.”
One follower agreed: “Roll on Movie number 2 Joan u r Hollywood Glamour for all ages my dear.” (sic)
Joan’s photo also attracted the attention of her celebrity pals including broadcaster Piers Morgan, who simply commented: “Lovely pic!”
This photo comes just weeks after the Dynasty star issued a damning verdict about the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and claimed that his repeated failures are “slowly destroying” London.
In her opinion piece for The Spectator, Joan slammed: “I’m a Londoner born and bred, and I love this city, even though it’s slowly being destroyed by the insidious antics of Sadiq Khan.
“Do his repeated failures explain why his hair is going prematurely white? Why are the roads closed all the time, for no apparent reason? Why are there endless roadworks, yet no men working on them? Why do we have filthy streets and graffiti everywhere?”
Joan continued: “I’ve recently been almost run over twice by ‘Lime bikes’. I’ve also tripped over a bunch of discarded cycles on the streets of Belgravia. Everyone I know has experienced the rudeness and sloppiness of most of these bike riders.
