Alex Jones has named The One Show guest who she thought was “full of himself” during his 2022 appearance. The presenter was looking back at her conversation with A-listers during an interview on the hit BBC programme, which she fronted alongside former co-host Jermaine Jenas.

During a chat on the Netmums podcast, Alex spoke on the different range of celebrity guests that have been seated on the prominent green sofas. She detailed: “You know, we’ve had people on that are big Hollywood stars. I mean, last week we had Robert De Niro and, he was lovely, but he was lovely afterwards.” The Welsh native then unveiled an unsavoury experience with Suicide Squad star Jared Leto, who joined the show virtually from Las Vegas.

Alex recalled: “He was there in sort of dressed as one of the Three Musketeers and he had all this, like, I don’t know, Gucci, big shirt, sleeves billowing. I mean, he was so full of himself.

“And I thought, no, no, no, no. Our audience are nice people and, they deserve better than this.

“You might be like a huge celebrity star and, you know, you’ve done all these films, but it doesn’t cost to be polite and nice.

“Anybody who can’t bring those simple skills to the table, I’m out. I’m like, no, sorry, you’ve not been brought up well, then,” the presenter added about the actor.

Viewers also voiced their disdain for the interview with Jared, taking to social media with complaints and stating they were “not impressed.”

As he discussed his new AppleTV+ show, WeCrashed, fans were left distracted by the star’s frilly blouse and his demeanour throughout the interview.

One was puzzled and wrote, “I’m not sure if Jared was insulted or trying to chat up Alex,” as a second remarked: “I can’t get over how bored Jared Leto looks on #TheOneShow.

While another echoed: “Jared was not impressed with their banter about his frilly shirt or white nail vanish #TheOneShow.”
