Alexia Echevarria and Marysol Patton appeared on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where they dished on the Real Housewives of Miami reunion, the drama surrounding Adriana De Moura‘s “married” boyfriend, and more.
Before speaking out against Lenny Hochstein and looking back at their time filming the upcoming third season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, Alexia reacted to the ongoing comparisons between her and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice.
“I’ve been called ‘Cuban Teresa’ a lot and I actually think it’s a compliment because I happen to know her and we’ve become very good friends,” Alexia revealed on the February 1 episode of WWHL. “She’s very passionate, so she’s like me in that way, but she has such a good heart [and] she’s a great mom.”
According to Alexia, she and the RHONJ star have “so many things in common.” But before she could say anything further, her longtime bestie cut in.
“Don’t get too cozy,” she warned.
But Alexia assured her that Teresa is “not taking your place.”
“Don’t worry. But there’s room for more than one,” she explained.
At the start of the episode, host Andy Cohen questioned the RHOM cast members about the recently taped reunion. And right away, Alexia described the upcoming special as “really amazing” as Marysol admitted it was “kind of a blur.”
Although Alexia and Marysol both had their fair share of drama during season five, Alexia wasn’t the only cast member in the hot seat. Instead, after Marysol named her, Alexia said Larsa Pippen took some heat as well.
“Me and Larsa. It was kinda like a tie. We always fight the hardest,” Alexia admitted, telling Marysol she had “a lot to do with” the drama she faced in recent episodes.
As RHOM fans may have seen, Alexia and Marysol have both had problems with Dr. Nicole Martin on the show. However, when a fan wanted to know if their issues with Nicole, as well as Guerdy Abriara and Julia Lemigova, were due to the fact that the newbies weren’t following their supposed “OG rules,” Marysol shut down the idea.
“Wait a minute! We don’t have a problem with Guerdy or Julia. Not at all,” she insisted.
Meanwhile, Alexia blamed the newbies for the drama.
“I think that the newbies created that division … I feel like we welcomed them in a very nice way and we had a great season last year so I don’t know what happened this season when they came in, they came in like, ‘Ah, we’re here and you need to respect us,’ when we always have,” she explained.

“I think it’s also hard for them because we have a long [history] and they’re trying to figure out their way,” Marysol agreed.
When another fan asked Alexia if Adriana’s season five boyfriend, Thierry, who was accused of being “married” but actually was not, ever apologized to her for confronting her about the rumor at Nicole’s engagement party, Alexia confirmed he did not and added that she did not apologize to him either.
“I never saw him again because it was her fake boyfriend. It wasn’t even her boyfriend,” Alexia claimed. “[Adriana] needs to apologize to me because when I had the conversation with her it was good-intentioned. It was really my concern for her. She turned this all around into her story so she could have a storyline.”
“She dragged that carcass all [season] long,” Marysol noted.
A third fan wanted to know if Alexia felt Adriana was jealous of Larsa’s body, wondering if that was why Adriana underwent a Brazilian butt lift this season.
“Absolutely. She gave her such a hard time and then she went and did it herself,” Alexia stated.
Another hot topic on WWHL was Lisa Hochstein‘s ongoing divorce from Lenny, who recently threatened to have her kicked out of their $52 million Star Island home.
“I was really disappointed to see that, just like the whole thing honestly,” Alexia said in response.
Then, when Andy asked the ladies if they ever run into Lenny while out and about in Miami, Alexia said she believes Lenny is “hiding.”
“I think he’s hiding. I haven’t seen him. I used to run into him with Lisa, but I think with this girl [Katharina Mazepa], he’s like hiding, as he should be,” she noted as Marysol said she’s “never run into him.”
Also on WWHL, Alexia and Marysol played a game in which they were forced to choose one of their RHUGT co-stars for each description. They revealed they “loved” Porsha Williams, named Heather Gay as the castmate they last texted, and shared that Porsha and Gizelle Bryant threw the best shade. But then, the RHOM stars took aim at Leah McSweeney, revealing the Real Housewives of New York City alum was the person who gave the worst first impression.
“Can I just say, Leah never even wore clothes. She was naked the whole time,” Marysol stated.
The ladies then said the two of them had the best style and revealed Candiace Dillard-Bassett was most different from the person they expected.
