Alix Earle’s stepmother, Ashley Dupré, recently sprang to her defense when Earle didn’t receive a flawless score during her appearance on Dancing With the Stars.
On Tuesday, October 28, Dupré, 40, took to TikTok to express her discontent with the scores given to Earle and professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy for their tango to Billie Eilish’s “Bury a Friend” during the show’s Halloween Night. The performance impressed judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough, each awarding the 24-year-old influencer a perfect 10. However, guest judge Cheryl Burke held back, giving her a 9.
In a light-hearted yet pointed comment, Dupré quipped, “Oh, go take more Ozempic,” as Burke, 41, displayed her score. Her children, joining in the moment, laughed along in the background.
One of Dupré’s kids even echoed the comment, asking, “Go take more Ozempic?”
Dupré replied, “What? She looks weird. Doesn’t even look like her.”
She then cheered as the other judges gave Earle a 10.
“INSANE!!!! So proud of you!!!! @Alix Earle @Val,” Dupré captioned the post as her fans laughed along with her in the comments section.
“Go take more Ozempic IM CRYINGG,” one wrote, while a second added, “CHERYL RUINED IT!!!!! 🙃🙃 she deserved all 10s for it.” A third commented, “I’m peeing at the Ozempic comment.”

Despite fan speculation about her appearance, Burke exclusively told Us Weekly in August that she’s never even considered taking the weight loss medication.
“There’s just no way, I faint at the sight of needles,” she said. “And I’ve heard of side effects, people not feeling well, certain things that happen that are too gross to share. I’m not willing to feel like that. I changed my eating habits. I stopped eating past 7 p.m. and it changed my whole body. It wasn’t so much about a number on the scale as it was about how I feel.”
Burke also told Us that she weighed around 145 pounds at the start of her weight loss journey, with her “heaviest” weight being 150. She now weighs 109 pounds.
“I don’t weigh myself daily anymore because it was a problem,” she admitted. “The last time I checked, I was 109. I feel f***ing great; my energy is on another level. That 109 doesn’t matter, what matters is how I feel.”

Burke also got candid about suffering from body dysmorphia, sharing she doesn’t see “what everyone else” does when it comes to her figure.
“When I look in the mirror, especially during my fittings, let’s say for a dance costume, I’m not seeing what everyone else is,” she explained. “I’m seeing somebody who most likely is heavier. If I was in a dress showing my back and I saw a roll, it would ruin my day. I was an angry person when I didn’t feel good.”
The former Dancing With the Stars pro works out by walking her dog “a couple of miles a day” and gets more cardio in on the treadmill while multitasking. “I actually can only edit [beauty influencer] content on a treadmill,” she explained. “It’s the craziest.”
