Alyssa Farah Griffin has offered her thoughts on the Super Bowl Halftime shows slated for 2026, sparking discussion about their anticipated impact.

During the Monday, February 9, episode of The View, Griffin, 36, praised Bad Bunny’s performance, calling it “excellent” from “start to finish,” and noting the NFL made a “smart business decision” by choosing the Latin superstar.

The television commentator also highlighted the alternative “All-American Halftime Show” from Turning Point USA, which was simultaneously broadcast on YouTube. This event featured a lineup headlined by Kid Rock, alongside country music stars Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.

Addressing the cultural divide surrounding these events, Griffin stated, “Those who were upset when the main halftime show was announced would remain disgruntled no matter what. Even if the performer entered on a bald eagle while saluting figures like Ronald Reagan and George Washington, their dissatisfaction would persist.”

She advised viewers to “ignore the chatter and focus on what truly matters,” emphasizing the importance of tuning out external noise.

Griffin concluded by sharing some viewership figures for both halftime events, providing insight into their respective audiences.

“It’s not shade to Turning Point [USA] and the alternative programming, they got like five million views,” she remarked. “135 million people tune in [to the Super Bowl], it’s America’s game. It was a great performance.”

Additionally, Griffin said the “takeaway” from the Grammy Award winner’s performance was that “you don’t need to speak the language to appreciate it.”

As In Touch previously reported, the Puerto Rican rapper delivered an energetic and joyful set at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8, for Super Bowl LX, bringing out Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin as guests.

According to Rolling Stone, Bad Bunny made history as the first Super Bowl performer to deliver the halftime performance primarily in Spanish.
