Alyssa Farrah Griffin, a co-host on “The View” and expectant mother, has been notably absent from the show this week due to a bout of stomach flu. As she takes time to recover, fans have been eager for updates on her condition.

Griffin has been missing from the set since Monday, prompting her to reach out to her audience through an Instagram Story. She reassured her followers by saying, “Hey guys! I’ve been down sick with a stomach virus, but will hopefully be back on @theviewabc tomorrow 🤒.”

The illness has proven particularly challenging for Griffin, who is over six and a half months pregnant. She expressed the discomfort of her situation, noting, “It’s no fun being sick while 6 ½+ months pregnant!” She also reminded everyone to take precautions during this season by advising, “Remember it’s that time of year — be smart, use hand sanitizer, stay home if you’re sick! 💙❤️”

In support of her colleague, Whoopi Goldberg took a moment during Wednesday’s broadcast to send her best wishes to Griffin, encouraging her to “get better soon.”

Her fellow co-host Whoopi Goldberg shared a message for Griffin on air Wednesday, telling her to “get better soon.”

Griffin announced she was five months pregnant with a baby boy in October. This is her and husband Justin Griffin’s first child after she underwent five rounds of in vitro fertilization (IVF).

“Baby Griffin is on the way and we’re just so excited — and terrified,” she told People.

“I’m so excited to be a boy mom, even though I’ll be outnumbered at home because we have two male dogs,” she added.

Alyssa praised her husband for his continued support.

“First and foremost, I have the best partner in the world,” she gushed. “Like they say, marry your best friend, and Justin is mine.”

“‘The View’ is hard work, and luckily I had the flexibility of the schedule to make early morning appointments in Midtown before racing to do the show,” she continued. “And my husband, he was there for me throughout it all, by my side at the doctor’s, right there with me.”

Meanwhile, Justin told the outlet that he “always wanted to be a father.”

Alyssa shared a sweet photo of Justin touching her baby bump on Instagram earlier this month.

“Grateful for our growing family 💙,” she wrote.

The couple has been married since November 2021. Their baby boy is due in February 2026.
