On Valentine’s Day, Amy Schumer is embracing a heartfelt moment.
The “I Feel Pretty” actress shared her plans on Instagram Stories, posting a photo of herself seated in a cozy corner with a gentle smile.
Behind her, a whimsical pastel banner hanging from the ceiling declared it a “Crying Corner.” Nearby, a tissue box and several water bottles were within reach.
“Shower yourself with love today,” she captioned the image, adding a cheerful “Happy vday.”
In the picture, the comedian sported a full face of makeup and styled her hair in a ponytail, perfectly capturing the essence of a self-care moment.
The “Trainwreck” actress, 44, filed for divorce from estranged husband Chris Fischer, 45, after seven years of marriage in January.
She announced her split from the pro chef in a December 12 Instagram post. “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she captioned the upload.
“We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
The since-deleted photo showed herself and Fischer on a subway. “blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag a basket and not because he’s a hot James beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever” she wrote at the time.
The former couple secretly wed in 2018 and welcomed their son, Gene, in 2019.
They first became the target of split rumors in 2021 after Fischer presented the mom of one with a 40th birthday cake that read, “I’m leaving you. This was the only way I could think to do it.”
Fans of Schumer — who appeared to have a somber demeanor when she saw the cake — were baffled by the unexplained encounter.
The beloved actress spent the summer of 2023 away from Fischer, vacationing in Europe with Jerry Seinfeld and his wife, Jessica, intensifying speculation of a marital rift.
In the weeks leading up to their divorce, Schumer flaunted her dramatic weight loss in a series of photos — including a telling snapshot without her wedding ring.
A source told Page Six in December that the former couple was still living together for co-parenting purposes.
“She expects that they’ll co-parent full-time together and that he’ll see Gene almost as much as he does now — if not more,” a close source said at the time. “They are still largely under the same roof, for the kid’s sake.”
