For several years, Craig Conover has been a prominent figure on the reality TV series Southern Charm. His relationship with Paige DeSorbo was widely followed, but the couple ended their romance last year after more than three years together.

In a recent turn of events, Bravo’s Andy Cohen took a playful dig at Craig regarding his dating history. The question on everyone’s mind is: How did Craig respond to the unexpected tease?

The light-hearted comment was made during the Bravo awards ceremony last week, where Andy Cohen served as the host. During his speech, he made a humorous remark about Craig, referencing his past relationship with Paige DeSorbo, who also starred in Southern Charm and Summer House:

The jab occurred at the Bravo awards ceremony, which took place last week and was hosted by Andy Cohen himself. During his speech, he made a quip about Craig that referred to his relationship with ex and former Southern Charm and Summer House cast member, Paige DeSorbo:

The joke was unexpected, but in the moment, Craig seemed to take it well. When the cameras cut to him, he could be seen laughing, clapping, and even making a heart gesture as a show of goodwill.

Craig Says There’s No Bad Blood With Andy

Despite being the butt of Andy’s joke, Craig has since said that there’s no beef between them. In a conversation with Decider, Craig swore that he didn’t think too much of the slight, and that he felt secure enough in his life that he was able to let it roll off.

He shared with the outlet that he didn’t think the moment was ultimately that big of a deal. He even admitted that Andy had previously reached out to him for approval to make a joke at his expense:

I thought it was a softball. Andy texted me last week and said, ‘How hard can I go on you at The Bravos?’ And I said, ‘Honestly, like, eight-and-a-half, nine out of 10.’ Whatever. I’m in a nice place.

“Obviously, Paige is a Bravo legend. The joke is [that] we were dating for three years. Everybody knew it. But I thought it was nice—as in, there’s a difference between being nice and mean. I was laughing,” he added.

In the meantime, it seems like Craig has his plate full with his own share of drama. The latest season of Southern Charm will see him trying to navigate the newly single life, including a supposed love triangle with two of his fellow castmates, Salley Carson and Charley Manley. Only time will tell if either sparks into a new romance, which would be Craig’s first since his split from Paige.

“It’s fun because I had no idea what I was doing. I’m really just trying to figure life out,” he confessed. “And we have an awesome new castmember, two new castmembers. I think you get to see a little spark in my eye again, and it’s something that I hadn’t had in a little bit. But then there just happened to be sparks in other people’s eyes. It’s really fun and flirty, and it’s kind of perfect for Charleston,” the reality TV star added.

Craig’s costar, Madison LeCroy, promised fans that the latest season would be one worth tuning into, noting that Craig was “a relationship guy” and that it was exciting to see him “have a little fun.” New episodes of Southern Charm will air Wednesdays at 9pm, only on Bravo.
