Andy Cohen reacted to Martina Navratilova‘s suggestion that surrogacy is “wrong” on Tuesday’s episode of his radio show.

After Martina’s wife, Real Housewives of Miami star Julia Lemigova, 53, appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she suggested the comment was taken out of context, Andy, 57, clapped back at the tennis icon, describing her message as “ill-informed” and “dumb” as he teased an additional conversation about the matter with Julia.

“I asked Julia about it on Watch What Happens Live. Julia and I have discussed this offline,” Andy began on the August 5 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “Martina will not be at the Miami reunion, so I will not be asking Martina about this.”

Although Andy won’t be confronting Martina, 68, about the matter at the upcoming reunion taping for season seven, he will be asking further questions of Julia.

“I’m sure it will come up again at the Miami reunion because, guess what? I believe Lisa Hochstein had her, had major complications with her last pregnancy and possibly needed to use [a surrogate],” he shared.

As for Julia alluding to Martina’s comments being taken out of context, Andy noted that the message she posted was quite clear.

“You know, Julia did say on Watch What Happens Live, and we were live, and I didn’t want to start debating it, and I will ask her this at the reunion, what she said is Martina’s tweet was kind of misinterpreted or misrepresented,” shared Andy.

He continued, “What Martina tweeted was ‘surrogacy is wrong.’ So I don’t know how that’s … She said, ‘Surrogacy is just wrong. Sometimes you can’t have it all.’ Well, here’s the deal: That’s just ill-informed and dumb. And yes, we will talk about it at the reunion,” he declared.

“Basically, she’s uninformed on the issue, so I just think she’s not informed. It’s a bad take. What can I tell you? She’s just wrong,” Andy concluded.
