Andy Cohen is one of the most recognizable faces in reality television despite not being a cast member. Of course, this comes with quite a few perks, but even the “King of late-night fun” can’t always get what he wants.

Now, he’s revealing that he and the Housewives producers have asked Robbie Williams‘ wife, Ayda Field, to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills several times, but she keeps turning it down. Plus, he recently shaded the dental work of some of the stars on the network.

Of course, Andy has spoken before about people he would love to cast on various Bravo shows. However, being a housewife isn’t an easy job- there’s public criticism, drama with the cast, and that pesky edit. It makes sense why many people wouldn’t want to take the leap to reality TV. 

Robbie was recently on Watch What Happens Live, and his wife was the guest bartender for the night. This is when Andy made a surprising revelation. He said, “Can I just be real and say that we’ve asked Ayda to be a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills like five times, five years in a row? Have we not?”

Of course, many people decide not to do reality TV because their spouses don’t want to be involved in it. However, it seems Ayda might have Robbie’s support. He chanted, “Do it! Do it! Do it!” after Andy mentioned the job offer. 

However, Ayda revealed her reasoning for turning down the offer. She explained, “It’s a lot of pressure! You’ve gotta get him on board.”

Andy then said, “I think you’re worried that Rob is going to get too involved.” She replied, “Oh, Rob will be up in it. He’ll be the house-husband of Beverly Hills.”

In the same episode, Andy also commented on the dental work of some of the Housewives stars. This came as Robbie was discussing that he had gotten new teeth recently and remarked that they weren’t “too much, right? Not like the yellow nubs that I used to have.”

Andy then said, “Also, not like the big chompers that a lot of the Housewives have.”

Of course, not much has been made of the off-handed comment. However, it is another instance of Andy remarking on the looks of the women on the Housewives shows. Notably, he has been called out for this in the past, namely by Brandi Glanville, who recently lambasted him for asking women about their plastic surgery.
