Andy Cohen shared over the weekend that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Vanderpump declined an invitation to appear on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls: Roaring 20th.

During the same interview, Andy, 58, also weighed in on the possibility of Nene Leakes returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, addressed rumors about a potential Real Housewives of Montana, and explained why Carole Radziwill, 63, was bumped up to a full-time position on The Real Housewives of New York City. He also revealed which RHONY cast member stirred up the most drama in season 16, named the celebrity who has turned down Watch What Happens Live more than anyone else, and touched on several other Bravo hot topics.

“We wanted [Lisa Vanderpump] to come back for [RHUGT] just to make an appearance, and she said, ‘No,’ I think cuz she can’t stand [Kyle Richards] and [Dorit Kemsley], but that’s just me guessing,” Andy said in a September 5 interview with Entertainment Tonight.

As for Nene, 58, Andy seemingly shut down the idea of her going back to RHOA.

“We just finished the reunion, and the cast is so great. We have eight housewives right now, so it seems like we have a pretty stacked lineup. But I loved her return to [RHUGT],” he clarified. “The fans were so excited, and I was just as excited as the fans, because I’m a fan.”

Moving on to a possible Real Housewives installment based out of Montana, Andy suggested that Bravo was not involved.

“There’s so many production companies that try to cast housewives and then pitch it to Bravo. So, some of them we’re involved with, and some of them we’re not,” he explained.

Regarding Carole’s upgraded role, Andy shared that he took her to breakfast after realizing that a “friend of” role wasn’t going to cut it.

“She was doing so well and she was such a part of the group that we said, ‘We need to have her as full housewife.’ So I took her out for another breakfast, and I said, ‘Guess what? We want you to hold an apple,’” he revealed.

While there has been some criticism of RHONY in recent years, following the cast overhaul ahead of season 14, Andy confirmed that he and his team have “nailed” season 16.

“It took a while and we didn’t want to relaunch the show until we got the casting exactly right, and I have to say, with Carole, [Daisy Toye], [Erika Hammond], and [Hailey Glassman] joining the group, we have nailed this casting. The new housewives come out with a bang. They’re so memorable,” he vowed. “Daisy, Hailey, and Erika, I mean, the three of them are going for the crown.”

As for who brought the most drama, that went to Daisy.

“Daisy brings a lot of drama. She’s just very outspoken, and I think one of the reasons people have always loved [RHONY] is how funny it is and how shocking and how absolutely, kind of the drama self-generates. And this season absolutely delivers on all of those parts,” he teased.

Then, after naming Mary Cosby, 53, as the funniest housewife and admitting there are “a few” cast members he dreads getting calls from, Andy named which celebrities are the biggest Housewives fans.

Julia Roberts is pretty engaged. We had dinner a couple weeks ago and let me just say this: She does a mean Vicki Gunvalson. She’s an Oscar winner, after all. [Jon Hamm] is the best. He just watched all of [Real Housewives of Rhode Island]. He loved it. I think [Alicia Carmody] [is his favorite],” Andy shared.

Also during the interview, Andy said it was Madonna who most frequently turned down WWHL.
