Andy Cohen is shedding light on his recent conversation with Karen Huger and her dramatic reentry into “The Real Housewives of Potomac” following her prison release.

In an exclusive chat with Page Six’s Eval Real and Danny Murphy during BravoCon on Friday, Cohen revealed, “The interview took place just a few days after Karen was released.” He elaborated, “I visited her home late at night after taping ‘Watch What Happens Live.’ It was a stealthy trip to Potomac and back.”

Fans caught a glimpse of this interview in the mid-season teaser for the reality series, which premiered at BravoCon. The snippet showcases a candid moment where Cohen remarks, “Here we are. You are a free woman,” referencing Huger’s recent stint in prison. She served a six-month sentence for a DUI before her release from the Montgomery County Detention Center in September.

Brief footage from the interview appeared in the reality show’s mid-season teaser, which debuted at BravoCon on Friday.

In it, Cohen said, “Here we are. You are a free woman,” referring to Huger’s six-month prison term for DUI, which ended in September with her release from the Montgomery County Detention Center.

The Bravolebrity replied, “Time to talk about my addiction.”

Of the full interview — which will air during the “Real Housewives of Potomac” Season 10 finale — Cohen told Real and Murphy, “It was very emotional.”

He added, “I heard things from Karen that I have never heard before.”

When asked how it felt to hear Huger, 62, admit to battling addiction, Cohen told Page Six that he “was very impressed with the whole conversation. I’m excited for you guys to see it.”

Murphy and Real also spoke with Huger’s “RHOP” co-stars on the red carpet, who cheered her on amid the journey.

“I love it,” Gizelle Bryant said. “I just want Karen to be the best version of herself. And I’m here for the journey with her.”

Bryant gushed, “I think Karen’s an amazing person. So if she can get past this monkey, we’re good to go.”

Speaking of Huger’s admission, Ashley Darby told Real and Murphy, “For her to say it herself is incredible.”

Recalling a time when Huger “put her armor back on” rather than feel “exposed,” Darby wondered if she would now “get the real Karen.”

“I feel like there’s no Potomac with the Grand Dame,” Monique Samuels added. “And Karen has been that.”

She explained, “I think this new version of her is going to be even better, because she’s going to be able to be who she truly is.”

Keiarna Stewart said she was “ecstatic” to have Huger back on the show.

“I’m excited to get to know her,” Angel Massie told us. “I feel like she’s what was missing this season.”

Huger was found guilty of driving under the influence in December 2024, following a high-speed March 2024 car crash that totaled her Maserati.

Police body cam footage showed Huger admitting to being “drunk” after the collision, and during an inebriated interrogation, calling herself Thomas Jefferson’s “concubine.”

She later addressed the shocking body cam footage from her arrest, saying she’d avoided watching it.

“I’m sitting there in the courtroom, like, I have to finally watch it, because I kept saying, ‘Well, surely they made a mistake, right, because everything’s not connecting for me,’” she told husband Ray Huger.

She added, “I’m telling you, I didn’t recognize that woman.”

Huger served 6 months in the facility before her September release.
