Andy Cohen opened up about his falling out and reconciliation with Carole Radziwill after her surprise appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
While speaking to listeners on his radio show, Andy, 57, recalled making amends with the 61-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum after their public feud, looked back on a recent run-in he had with her, and confirmed they are in a “positive place,” prompting Carole to respond on her Instagram Story.
“That was the first time that Carole Radziwill had been on Watch What Happens Live in like, I wanna say seven or eight years it’s been since she was on RHONY, I think. I could be wrong but I think it’s been that long. She’s not been on. She and I, as you know, had a big kind of falling out. She asked me never to speak to her again and we went at each other kind of publicly for years,” Andy began on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “And then we made up last year.”
“She and I kind of went at it again after that New York Magazine piece came out, and then she texted me and said, ‘You know, I just kind of realized, you and I could deal with this privately.’ She was like, ‘Why do you feel about me this way?’ And I was like, ‘Why do you feel about me this way?’ Anyway, we really kind of came to a very positive place,” he continued.
Then, in a weird turn of events, Andy and Carole ran into each other at the Polo Bar.
“[It was] so crazy. I mean, it’s just wild. But anyway, I ran into her again at a Gay Pride thing a couple months ago. So we’re all good,” he declared.
“And just to remind you I knew Radzi for at least 10 years before she was ever on RHONY. So we had this whole life before she ever became a housewife and so it was nice. It was very positive, having her back; it was a nice kind of welcome back to the Clubhouse. Welcome back to the Bravoverse,” he added.
After Bravo Bravo Bravo Bri posted the Andy Cohen Live clip on Instagram, Carole reacted on her Instagram Story by resharing the clip and offering some statements of her own.
“True story… we hadn’t spoken or even bumped into each other in nearly 7 years! After another public argument, we quietly settled our differences over text messages. Then, one week later, we bumped into each other at The Polo Bar!” she wrote, via a screenshot shared by Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “The universe had said, enough!”

In addition to responding to Andy’s comment about their on-air reunion, Carole also shared a clip from the WWHL episode on her main Instagram page.
“The [RHONY] Reunion you were waiting for….yes, that’s me … The mystery guest on WWHL. Honestly it was so fun to be in that crazy clubhouse. And [Bowen Yang] and [Matt Rogers] were the best guests I could have asked for,” she captioned the August 4 post. “Of course [Andy Cohen] was incredible and fun and gracious with a smile ear to ear. Even though I’m famously NOT A HUGGER the hug was the best part. That’s all folks…..no other reunions or appearances but this one was worth all my nervousness & butterflies.”
Carole Radziwill was featured in a full-time role on seasons five through 10 of The Real Housewives of New York City.
