Andy Cohen recently weighed in on the controversy surrounding West Wilson‘s leaked nude photos.
During the Wednesday, May 27 episode of SiriusXM’s Smith Sisters Live, Andy, 57, reminisced about the moment West addressed the leaked images. “When West started discussing the nudes, everyone was curious, asking ‘Is it hard? Is it soft?’” he recalled. Andy noted that during the conversation, Jesse [Solomon] even showed West the image that had been circulated. “It was truly a reunion first,” Andy remarked.
Andy went on to explain that West, 31, discovered the leak just before the filming of the Summer House season 10 reunion. “We hadn’t begun the reunion yet. Everyone was just arriving. This topic resurfaces later with the group, and you’ll see how things unfold in parts two and three of the special,” he hinted.
Reflecting on the situation, Andy expressed empathy for West. “It’s a nightmare for anyone to have their nudes leaked. To have it happen on that day, compounded by the news about his grandmother, makes it even worse,” Andy said. He referenced the arrest of West’s cousin, Dakota Sweeney, who faces charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of West’s grandmother, Gayle R. Wilson. (Sweeney has entered a plea of not guilty.)
West Wilson also addressed the issue of his leaked photos, which hit the internet just before the Summer House reunion. “I know my nudes leaked, OK. But honestly, it’s like the least of my concerns right now. I’ve got a lot on my plate, and I’m going to own it,” he stated, reflecting on the challenging circumstances.
Elsewhere on the radio show, Andy shared that he was “stunned about how calm” West and Amanda Batula were ahead of filming, as they were going to be under fire for their romance. (Batula, 34, is Kyle Cooke’s estranged wife and a close friend of Ciara Miller. West is Ciara’s ex.)
“I have never seen anyone more ready and sat for a reunion as Ciara was,” Andy said. “I mean, she was clear, confident, stunning, strong, intelligent, everything that she came to do. She left nothing on the table.” He added that he felt like a “traffic cop,” making sure everyone had a chance to get their thoughts in.
Fans saw West’s first reaction to learning his nudes had leaked during the reunion, which aired on Bravo on Tuesday, May 26.
Immediately after sitting down, Amanda asked him how he was “doing” as he checked his phone, to which he replied, “I just got a text that someone hacked my phone and there’s nudes of me being sent around. That’s a good text to get right before this.”

Amanda then quipped, “That’s so weird, I’ve never gotten any.” Jesse, 33, entered the chat, sharing that he, too, had been sent West’s leaked nudes.
West asked whether he was “hard” in the photos, to which Carl and Jesse laughed. “Very soft,” Carl replied.
Amanda then leaned over his shoulder and looked at the photo, which West confirmed was him.
“It curves left,” Jesse pointed out.
