Andy Cohen made headlines on Monday during his radio show, appearing to throw some shade at Bethenny Frankel.

The 55-year-old former star of Real Housewives of New York City, who has been advocating for reality stars to receive residuals and has accused networks of exploiting talent, seems to have caught the attention of the Watch What Happens Live host, now 57, with her prolific TikTok presence.

In a candid moment, Andy shared that he took to Instagram to gauge public sentiment about his recent New Year’s Eve hosting duties on CNN.

“I decided to check TikTok to see what the younger crowd thought of New Year’s Eve,” Andy remarked during the January 5 broadcast of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “That margarita lady is everywhere. Honestly, it’s overwhelming. I just couldn’t keep up.”

“[I] went on TikTok just to see what the kids were saying about New Year’s Eve,” Andy said on the January 5 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “Boy, that margarita lady. Oh my God, it’s suffocating. I couldn’t.”

Andy’s co-host, John Hill, also seemed to poke at Bethenny, saying that she shares “like 14 [videos] a day.”

“Anyway, that was a one and done for me,” Andy replied. John then responded, “I have her blocked.”

Andy added, “She doesn’t come up on my Instagram. I don’t even know if she’s on Instagram.”

As RHONY fans well know, Bethenny made it big with her Skinnygirl Margaritas when she sold her cocktail brand to Jim Beam in 2011 for an estimated $100 million. And when it comes to her relationship with Andy, they haven’t been on good terms for a while.

“I can tell you with great certainty that everyone at Bravo likely despises me, including Andy Cohen, because it’s very personal and because they have to protect the realm,” Bethenny revealed on an August 2023 episode of Rob Lowe’s Literally! podcast. “It’s a very complicated thing I walked myself into whilst also burning bridges and seeming like I’m biting the hand that fed me, but I fed myself. There are a lot of people who didn’t get fed.”

One year later, Andy fired back at Bethenny during an interview with Variety, saying he didn’t “really think about” her reality reckoning.

“My job is always focusing on making the shows that I produce — and as I said a year ago, and I’ll say it again now — I am so proud to partner with incredible production companies,” he said. “I am proud of the systems that we had in place a year ago, and I’m proud of the systems that we have in place now that are built to look after people’s mental health and also produce absolutely great television that people around the world love.”
