Angela Oakley claimed Phaedra Parks started the recent cheating rumor about her husband Charles Oakley, and she revealed Phaedra’s alleged connection to the man who ‘leaked’ it. The star also shared how she discovered Charles’ past infidelity, and she recalled when she lost a “tremendous amount of money.”

On the latest episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, a man approached Angela claiming that Charles was spotted with another woman. At the time, Angela was confused because she didn’t know the man at all.

On the Reality with The King podcast, Angela was asked if she believes Phaedra started the rumor that Charles is still cheating on her.

“Absolutely, 100 percent,” she said, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “The person she used to start the rumor told me it was her … He had a lot to lose if he [was lying], and it’s [regarding] who he is and things that he’s done in his past. He didn’t want them to come to light.”

“So I found out about it, and I was just like, ‘You’re gonna tell me what happened and who sent you,’ and he beat around the bush, and he just said, ‘I’m gonna tell you,’ and he did tell us. Then there was just this connection to Athens, Georgia,” said Angela, referring to the town where Phaedra grew up. “I’ve never met anybody from Athens, Georgia, ever, and I’ve been in Georgia twenty years … Everything made sense. [His] sister went to high school with [Phaedra’s] brother.”

She claimed Phaedra openly “lie[d] on my husband,” which was “devious.”

Later in the podcast, she reacted to Phaedra’s comment that Angela is the ‘oldest-looking young person’ she had ever met. “I kinda want Phaedra to find a man, a friend, or a mirror,” said Angela. “I think I [would] fit in with the [original] older cast.”

As for her real estate portfolio, Angela recalled when she was “persuaded” to buy multimillion-dollar properties and later “lost a tremendous amount of money.”

She also addressed when she first discovered Charles’ alleged cheating.

“I was very delusional about what was happening,” she said. “A few people DM’d me like, ‘Hey, oh, he’s married? I didn’t know.’ I was devastated because I [was] newly married. I just had a baby, so I’m dealing with postpartum. There’s a lot of the women that he dated [who] didn’t care.”
